Jenson Button World Champion by Stephen Doig
Formula 1
At the beginning of the 2009 season things looked bleak for English racing driver Jenson Button. His team, Honda had pulled out of Formula 1 as a cost saving excercise due to the world recession and he was left without a drive. However, things took a turn for the better when Ross Brawn bought the Honda team and set about its transformation. His drivers were Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello and Jenson won 6 of the first seven races that season, culminating with Jenson winning the title at Brazil.
