Framing

The Original Art Shop has a modern framing workshop on the premises that enables us to frame our customers artwork quickly and professionally.

Robin was the 7th person in the country to pass the Fine Art Trade Guild's Commended Framers test, and all framing is carried out to the FATG's guidelines.

We use high quality acid free mountboard from one of the UK's top suppliers, with most of the mountboard being manufactured in the North West of England in Cumbria.

We are delighted to quote for framing any item, no matter how small or large and whether for home use or for commercial and contract purposes.

When purchasing framed art from our website, if the framed item needs glazing we use Artscreen Plus in place of glass. This acrylic product is safer than glass for carriage and also has UV blocking qualities that helps prevent the artwork from being damaged by the effects of UV light.
