Quiet Time - Hamish Blakely
In its essence, this goes hand in hand with "Sitting Pretty". The treatment, however, conveys a very different atmsphere. The almost impressionistic handling of the background articulates something more stormy. The mans ruminant attitude acts as a centre of peace amid the lively brushwork of his surroundings. This helps introduce the feeling that the man, as the woman in "Sitting Pretty", is taking time out from the profound, physical exertion of the Tango. He seems to be a man who is taking stock - preparing for his next move and the removal of his shirt indicates that he has been through a lot, but is getting ready for more.
