I took this shot on their first afternoon gig at Studio 1 in Newport St. Mick and Keith are still wearing the jerkins they wore when they appeared at Eel Pie Island, before Andrew Loog Oldham signed them up. The Stones had previously played this weekly gig at the Marquee, however the venue changed because the owner was a friend of their previous manager and both of them were upset that the group had now gone to Andrew.
