Study for Bad Seed - Govinder

We are deeply saddened to announce that one of countrys most outstanding, award winning contemporary artists - Govinder Nazran - who enjoyed enormous success around the world, tragically died on Tuesday 30 December 2008, after suffering a seizure on Christmas Eve.#

Before I begin a painting on canvas, I always produce a small sketch – “The Idea”. The idea is refined into a small working study of how I see the finished painting to be. “The Godfather”, “Bad Seed” and “Nicodemus” studies were exhibited as part of a Miniatures Exhibition hosted by the Halcyon Gallery, Birmingham. I feel honoured to have them as my first three published studies.
